NREL Tibet project

Lotus Energy had installed 49 solar home systems in the Nyergo village and 50 in the Lhenpa village in Tibet.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), USA has provided the funds for the hardware and installation. Each Solar Home System consists of two 20 watt Siemens PV modules, a double panel aluminum mounting frame, one 8 amp Steca PWM based PV/charge controller, one Trojan 30AH sealed maintenance free battery, and three Sundaya CFL based Multilights.
